I am an immunologist working at the intersection of biomedical sciences, public policy, and science diplomacy. As an Advisor for Sustainability at the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy, I support global HIV/AIDS efforts through the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). I am also an advocate for diversity in science and evidence-informed policymaking as a member of the Puerto Rico Science Policy Action Network (PR-SPAN) and the Science Diplomacy Network in Latin America and the Caribbean (DiploCientifica). My passions are science communication, science policy, and science diplomacy.
